Values in Action

Service Learning forms a large part of the Values in Action Efforts at Seng Kang Secondary School.

At the end of the service learning programme, students will

  • have a heightened sense of awareness of the needs of the community
  • internalise the values of empathy and respect learnt through real life experiences
  • acquire 21st century skills & competencies through the planning & implementing of the VIA

The school embarks on both school wide and level-wide service learning projects to engage our students in authentic learning experiences that require them to:

  • Identify the needs of the community
  • Provide feasible and realistic solutions to meet the community’s needs
  • Planning and Implementing the solutions they have decided on
